NEW TREATMENT
Restore Scar Therapy
Restore Scar Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment designed to improve the appearance, flexibility, and overall function of scar tissue.
Using specialist hands-on techniques, the treatment helps to soften and mobilise scars, ease tightness, reduce discomfort, and encourage the scar to blend more naturally with the surrounding tissue.
This treatment can be beneficial following surgery, injury, burns, or other forms of trauma, supporting healthy scar tissue and improving movement where restrictions may be present.
Suitable for both internal and external scars from 8 weeks after healing (or with medical clearance where appropriate).
A supportive approach to healing
Scars can impact more than the surface of the skin. Tightness, sensitivity, tension, restriction and changes in sensation can all affect comfort, confidence and everyday movement long after healing appears complete.
Using gentle manual techniques and a calm, personalised approach, scar therapy treatments are designed to help support:
Mobility and flexibility
Scar tissue softness and comfort
Lymphatic flow and circulation
Feelings of tightness or restriction
Nervous system regulation
Connection back into the body following surgery or treatment
Overall wellbeing and recovery
Every treatment is adapted carefully depending on your needs, medical history and stage of healing.
Specialist training with a restorative approach
Founder Gillian has undertaken advanced specialist training in restore scar therapy and restorative post-operative care.
This training explores the wider impact scars and surgical procedures can have on the body, including fascia, lymphatic function, posture, mobility and nervous system wellbeing.
Combined with Gillian’s existing work in lymphatic drainage and holistic facial and body therapies, treatments are approached with sensitivity, care and a deeper understanding of recovery and restoration.
